Diagnostic Dashboards

Designed to drive decision-making and impact

Through the support of the ACT-Accelerator Diagnostics Pillar, an array of interactive dashboards have been created across the diagnostic journey to unlock the power of data. These tools have supported stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels to inform decision-making throughout the course of the pandemic.

Global COVID-19 Test Tracker

As the pandemic evolved, the interest in testing as a public health tool significantly increased, and the need for accurate numbers on testing rates became pressing. To address this, the SARS-CoV-2 test tracker was created as a centralized source of COVID-19 testing data. The SARS-CoV-2 test tracker is interactive and updated daily for most countries that continue to report data.

COVID-19 Test Directory & Pipeline

The pandemic resulted in unparalleled development and commercialization of diagnostics, seen in 2,000+ commercially available COVID-19 tests with wide-ranging performance, and many from companies new to the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) market. A fully searchable routinely updated directory has been created for ease of use and access.

COVID-19 diagnostics and therapeutics policy mapping dashboard

The unprecedented scale and pace of the COVID-19 pandemic and its continuously evolving global context has influenced policy development and dissemination in many ways. While policies may differ, there is value in centralizing these policies for the benefit of country implementers and policymakers globally. A routinely updated policy dashboard was created and provides a global snapshot of COVID-19 country testing and treatment policies based on publicly available data and documents.

COVID-19 genomic surveillance capacity map

The pandemic has triggered the largest ever global expansion of genomic surveillance capacity and shown the powerful potential of next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies. These technologies play a critical role in the rapid identification and monitoring of emerging viral variants to inform the global pandemic response. Therefore, the SARS-CoV-2 genomic surveillance capacity map was created to offer a comprehensive understanding of the SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic and sequencing landscape.

The Infectious Disease and Epidemic Simulation for COVID-19 (TIDES-C19)

TIDES-C19 is a COVID-19 simulation tool, created by FIND and produced by EI Studios, to help policymakers, governments, & healthcare workers explore disease management decisions for COVID-19, empowering them to use data to drive decision-making in countries.
