ACT-A Dx Knowledge Hub

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator partnership was launched in April 2020 with the aim to support the fastest, most coordinated, and successful global effort in history to develop tools to fight a disease.

The ACT-Accelerator is a groundbreaking global collaboration to speed up the production of and equitable access to COVID-19 tests, treatments, and vaccines. It comprises three pillars, namely Diagnostics, Therapeutics, and Vaccines, as well as a cross-cutting Health Systems and Response Connector and Access and Allocation workstream.

Diagnostics are an essential part of sustainable, resilient health systems and pandemic preparedness plans.

The ACT-Accelerator Diagnostics Pillar, co-convened by FIND and the Global Fund with strong support from WHO, works with 50 global health partners across the diagnostic value chain to ensure equitable access to COVID-19 diagnostic technologies and tools.

Visit our partners to learn more about their work.

The partners have created this knowledge hub platform to consolidate resources, tools and lessons from the ACT-Accelerator Diagnostics Pillar.

A global repository of shared knowledge

This knowledge hub platform provides an opportunity to reflect on learnings from the pandemic and apply them to improving health outcomes for COVID-19 as well as other disease areas and public health challenges.

ACT-Accelerator Diagnostics Pillar co-convenors, FIND and the Global Fund, are leading the oversight of the platform with support from WHO and close collaboration with diagnostic partners.
